A; hazy; medium gold in color; 1+ finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a thin cap; nice lacing;
S: grapefruit first, then pineapple;
T: not as bright as the aroma; grapefruit, pineapple, orange, and lemon from start to finish; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: good, but the aroma was better than the flavor;

Look...suspended yeast chewy bits of nonsense. White frothy head with white bubbles.
Smell...Faint oranges and hop bitter skunk hop citrus. Grassy mango peaches overripe
Taste...Bitter grapefruit and solid sweetness but balance quite well. juicy and bitter.
Feel..A viscous yet slick enough that never seems pulpy. medium to high carbonation giving a texture that is very desirable impact on the finish
Overall...This is a very solid beer and will try some others from my locals. I met the owner I believe, or someone of significance in the business and they had a constructed a concrete counter top bar that was about 30 feet long and had a cool construction conversation. Anyway, good stuff but they don't really distribute much.

Crowler filled on 7/16/20
Pours a hazy, just-beyond-translucent, glossy burnt orange hue topped with multiple fingers of pillowy, white foam; good head retention leaves a finger of rocky cap, a large, frothing collar, and thick chunks of soapy lacing strewn around the walls of the glass.
Aromas of fresh orange zest and key lime upfront flow into a semi-rich tropical cream muddle, steadily giving in to guava, mango, and moss on the back end of the bouquet as flaky cereal malt offers a closing edge.
Taste opens with lime zest, light passionfruit, and tangerine, with a softer touch of tropical cream than the aroma over the mid-palate; wet grass and overripe melon proceed subtly along the back end as a suggestion of pine lingers through the swallow.
Mouthfeel offers a lithe medium-light body contrasting a fluffy, consistent, moderate-high carbonation; a drying texture quickly advances over the mid-palate, evolving to a sleek, bitter bite lingering alongside a clean, pillowy malt through the finish while a wispy hop acidity maintains past the swallow.
Rich tropical cream edges to more herbal tones of fruit and earth, quietly showcasing an exhibition of hoppy depth against a soft yet ever-present malt backbone and quietly complex body; a highly approachably layered IPA levying a largely universal appeal in its marriage of West Coast and New England elements.
