From a Growler filled at the brewery.
A dark pour with clarity, a decent khaki head and some slippery lacing.
Dark roasted barley on the nose.
The roasted malt flavor is fairly rich, caramel and dark coffee notes.
The hops selection and profile work well with the malt, well balanced and delicious. The mouthfeel is a little lighter than expected, but everything else makes up for it. A solid flavorful stout, a little tangy on the finish.
