Pours a brilliant, crystal-clear golden copper body capped with a finger and a half of fluffy, off-white foam; decent head retention yields a slight layer of cap, modest, frothy collar, amd generous spatter of chunky, soapy lacing strewn around the walls of the glass.
Aromas of honey and white toast ease over a backdrop of peppery grain as a tinge of floral lager yeast trends into wisps of fruity esters against soft cereal flakes into the back end of the bouquet.
Taste offers honeyed white toast steady into bread crusts, while an imbued minerality develops against whispers of florality, bread dough, and vibrant lager yeast undertones.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-light body along with a taut, tight fluff of moderate carbonation, leaving an invigorating prickle over the mid-palate and a modest dryness through a delicately snappy finish.
A pronounced profile produces a balance of sweetness and grain to an effecting, bready climax, seamlessly conveying the myriad qualities of a robust yet evenly tempered festbier.
