Handshakes & High Fives is a cosmic wonder of an IPA featuring a brand new yeast strain specifically meant to pull out some of those white grape and Sauvignon Blanc-type hop oils particularly found in New Zealand varieties such as the featured hop here… the elusive Nelson Sauvin.
We paired its classic white grape & gooseberry characteristics of Nelson Sauvin with a Cascade mash hop with a Citra & Azacca dry hop. It’s a mimosa in a glass!
Slapping in at a well-hidden 7.5% & presenting a super soft & delicately fluffy finish, this might be one we have to revisit.

Had a pint at the Arden Brewhouse 8-29-21 for $5.61.
Beer was served a hazy orange with a nice head.
Nose was very nice, very forward with the tropical and citrus hops.
Taste was very well balanced with a substantial malt base providing the canvas for the yeast and hops to kick off a nice tropical based brewing leaning towards mango and kiwi along with some orange. Finished balanced; 5/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and smooth yet refreshing.
Overall a smackable brew!
