This is truly a crisp and refreshing lager. The look is very hazy, not quite to style but it is different. The smell is has a distant odor of citrus with a wheaty forward scent, and the mouthfeel is super light and super crisp. The taste is enjoyable, sessionable, and truly something that you can have again and again. That's why, overall, the beer is worthy of its over-4 score...

A real good basic craft lager but price is an issue. They need to get this in a 12er and price it accordingly

Appearance: Slightly hazy, straw yellow. Thin white head with short retention. Fast rising bubbles.
Aroma: Floral/perfume-like hops.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Grainy & bread flour notes. Restrained bitterness. Medium sweet.
Mouth feel: Soft (not dry), light to medium body. Light carbonation. Short, crisp finish.
Overall: As far as Standard American Lager goes, this one is good. Light to medium bodied, it has a subtle floral aroma. Judging from the hazy appearance and soft mouth feel, I am guessing this is 2 row barley, maybe pilsner malt with flaked corn added. Medium sweet, but it does finish relatively crisp. Virtually no bitterness. It's not particularly attractive for a pale lager (lacks that clear brilliant look); but it can get the job done on a hot steamy summer/early fall afternoon tailgating or grilling out.
