Copenhagen 29/3 2025. 75 cl bottle from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Brown stylized label with Alder's logo, a simple rendering of a Hop flower, and the name of the beer in black letters.
Pour unclear golden yellow with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with an odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with a tart and spicy scent. Sweet ripe apricots. Black pepper. Hints of funk with a light touch of sour cheese.
Light carbonation. Thin. oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is tart with a mellow sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry and tart.
Nice tart Italian take on a Saison.
