Unsurprisingly hazy and opaque. Yellow-orange hue. Good head production and retention; very nice lacing.

Very bright, juicy, and hoppy nose. Citrus and tropical fruit notes in roughly equal amounts, along with bright kitchen herbs and sweet floral notes. Pineapple, mango, orange, peach, ruby red grapefruit, berries, oregano, mint.

Similar on the palate, albeit not quite as potent. Very smooth and creamy, with a long, minty finish. Mango, oregano, pineapple, mandarin orange, lemon, cream, basil.

Thanks to MacMalt. Received in NBS BIF #13.
My first Tin Barn beer.
Pours a hazy, subdued orange-gold. Assertive, fluffy white foam breaches my glass. Slowly settles into a nicely packed finger high cap. Solid retention.
Nose bursts with pineapple. Slowly hints of mango come in and then make way for bright citrus notes of tangerine, orange, and subtle grainy sweetness.
The flavor follows the nose in more understated tones, but still excellent. The pineapple is no longer the headliner. Now this is more of a chorus line. Tangerine, pineapple, mango, ripe cantaloupe, lemon, and a creamy, mildly sweet grain note that to me comes off as oats. A slight pithy bitterness comes through near the end.
Mouthfeel is fantastic. Carbonation is active, keeps things alive. Fluffy mouthfeel really allows room for the flavors to dance, coming together and then peeling off to solo.
Love this one. What a great introduction to Tin Barn Brewing.

Traded for this last week as I had never heard of this beer before, nor of this brewery either! I'm lucky to have a friend who gets me brews that I don't normally get my hands on, and this was one of them as it was nicely crafted and very easy to drink and fall in love with!

This had a very nice pour to it as the liquid was a muted goldenrod that was silently radiant and uniform in hue. The head was full and held it's own while the lacing was concentrated in the middle of my pint glass. A few well-defined rings could be seen there as the suds left being were quite extensive and beautiful. Lots of oats, dank pineapple, and pithy grapefruit in the nose as the taste was so easy to enjoy and very nicely balanced. A bit of tangerine, cream, dank hops, deep pine, and swamp water entered the fray as this got heavier as it warmed up. Really enjoyed the flavor and complexity of this as the carbonation was spot-on and the aftertaste had a little burn, some lactose stickiness, and a nice cloying from the oats as they all combined to leave me wanting more!

There was enough alcohol in this although I never tasted it and the heft was on par with everything else going on here. Canned on 3/18 with "FIRST EVER" written above it, this left quite an impression on me as it was as good as anything from the other New York brewers that I've become a fan of in recent years. Love the label, but the liquid inside was just as professional and memorable. Nice job all-around!

Canned on 3/18/2021. Poured into a snulip glass. It pours a dense, dirty golden-yellow color with a half finger of fluffy, bright white head and thick, clinging lacing. What a nose! Lemon, tangerine, pineapple, ripe melon, and floral hops. This is outrageous juice! It opens with tart lemon and grapefruit rind balanced by pineapple, tangerine, and something sweet and creamy (oats?). Unfortunately, the brewery doesn't publicize the hop bill but it's super fruity with moderate bitterness. I also love the mouth feel; it's thick, creamy, almost chewy, with moderate carbonation, and the 8.6% ABV gives it a nice kick. I'm very impressed. I've had some fine DIPAs from Tin Barn and the Queen Snake collaboration with D96 was fantastic. Tin Barn is competing with the Big Boys. Tree House and Other Half would be proud to brew Space Hurricane.
