Poured from the tap into a pint glass. Pours hazy yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of fresh citrus and tropical fruit. Tastes of sweet citrus and tropical fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

 

 

 

 

 

Can. Hazy golden yellow color. White head with a little lace.

Pretty decent hazy. Nothing special, but not bad for a newer, smaller brewery. Orange, mango, papaya. Some bitterness.

 

Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (20% clarity) medium orange color with a relatively mild head. (4.00)

Aroma: Moderate to strong aromas of lemon citrus, floral citrus, somewhat green. Mostly floral and lemony. There's lemon dish soap and lime aromas. Lemon/lime citrusy and floral. (4.00)

Flavor: Moderate flavors of lemon and lime citrus. Lots of citrus rind and some flower astringency. It's tart lemon astrigency off the end. (3.75)

Feel: Medium to lighter bodied. Strong carbonation. Finishes light and clean. Almost a creamy vanilla mouthfeel on it. (4.25)

Compared to BlackStack Shine On 9/5/22: Pours a darker, hazier appearance. Milder aromas. More lemon/lime citrus soap. less sweet and tropical juicy pineapple. Dryer, cleaner, more astringent. Winner: BlackStack

Overall: A decent NEIPA here. Lighter with the lemon/lime citrus astringency thing going on. Almost a citrus cleaner flavor that leans toward a citrus IPL. Nice and clean body. Very nice body and clean mouthfeel. Almost a creamy vanilla mouthfeel. Still drinks decent, but I suppose I expected a little more flavor to this one. (Rating: 3.93, but the body is nice)

 

Pours a hazy light golden straw color. With good head and lacing. Smell is tropical and fruity. Nice notes of citrus ,pineapple, melon and papaya. A soft mouth fell that is more fruity than dry .Has a great hop aroma and taste for the ABV, Elm Creek fast becoming=ga favorite local of mine.
