The most free spirited, zen, and calm inhabitant of the bluffs, Lady loves a good hat. They also love drinking a traditionally brewed Finnish Sahti with special made Sugar Creek dark rye malt from Belle's Såinnhus. This one is brewed in homage to Mika, Lady's friend in Finland.

"A Sahti with Special Roasted Sugar Creek Rye Malt" so says the menu's tagline.
My 3rd Sahti, I'm hardly expert; but farmhouse ales have a special place in my sensory perception.
And Lady Flucom helps explain why.
A very pretty amber, particularly when held to the light of a recently set sun and a Christmas tree.
Smells are mostly malt, but roasted to the point of being smoky. In the Tastes, the spiciness of the rye comes through, although not strong. Balanced. In the mouth, more bubbles would be nice; but my palate was sufficiently cleansed. Even more delicious as this ale warms.
The highlight was the Orkenoy dish I had with it... a rye flatbread (obvious pairing) with sweet potatoes puree (went with sweet malts), a smoked cheese (another obvious pairing) and topped with a salad that cleansed the palate.
Carried this can from the gastropub along with every other ale of theirs on tap. I may be becoming Orkenoy's latest fan.
