The rye is light, but the beer is refreshing. So, maybe this is more of a summer rye beer than an autumn rye beer. I like rye, but never thought of it as a four season grain. But with Tiger Haddon, maybe so. Typical of the creativity of Orkenoy and how it gently stretches a style. And it's why I like them.
So how does it taste to use old rye bread as part of the malt bill ? Decent.
With a hard pour, Tiger Looks average appetizing. Smells say malt and hops. Tastes are largely balanced, unless you are like me and like the malt to win in the end. Refreshing and nice bubbles in a medium mouth. Tiger paired well with a simple meal of roasted potatoes... otherwise with a complex meal, not probably the best selection. Cheers !
