Light clear brown-amber in color, small white head that quickly disappears, malty bready aroma, spicy malty and light smokey sweet flavors, medium body, has a nice creamy yet thin mouthfeel, some dryness in the finish,a bit light for the style, still a only an average light scottish ale

This ale (called a Scotch Ale on the menu) was light amber in color with a bit of nice foam. The aroma was of malt. The taste was a bit "chalky" to me with a low hop bitterness and very low carbonation. The mouthfeel was ok, and the drinkability was good. A friend with me liked it more than I did.
