500ml bottle. Label says Batch No. 4. Probably bought it a while ago (1-2 months?) at Beer Junction.
Pours clear light brass color, medium sized to small head, lots of carbonation. Smell is grain and damp, cold, cellar. Maybe some wood, maybe some wet hay.
Taste backs away from that slightly to turn into an earthy bitter, woody / nutty garden of cut grass. Grain is still there, a little milder and wetter.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Nice beer.

This is still being brewed in 2025, with an adjustment to ABV and now Franconian Pilsner malt. It's warm and rich but not overly sweet. Taste is yeasty with a grainy finish. Inviting malty aroa of roasted barley. Somehow this tastes like a brewhouse smells. Overall, it's a more rustic version of a Festbier but highly drinkable and flavorful. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station. No date. And no, Otherlands won't take their own bottles back.

Served in half-litre mug, from a gravity cask. Poured a lightly cloudy pale yellow color with over two inches of fluffy and rocky white head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma had slightly sweet malts and loads of floral hops.
Same on the tongue, just more expanded and focused.
The body was medium-full, for the style, smooth, and had lightly semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was excellent, I had 5 mugs, and I rarely drink 2 of the same thing in a row.
Overall, a very nice brew to celebrate the breweries first anniversary with. A must-try if you can.
