Light yellow, golden, clear colour. White, finely bubbled foam, incredibly high and persistent for this type of beer. It gently "paints" the glass.Strongly fruity, wild, funky, sour aroma with grassy notes, wet wood and rural scents. The aroma is pleasantly refreshing.Intensely sour taste with a slight sweetness in the background and a stronger, stone fruit bitterness. The bitterness seems dry and slightly harsh.Medium to high carbonation. The texture is almost smooth. Medium body. Long sour and bitter aftertaste. Over time, the sourness fades at the expense of stone fruit bitterness.

Pours a murky orange with thick head.
Smell is tart and oaky with notes of lemon, lime, elderflower and a hint of sulphur.
Taste is sour with nice acidity and notes of oak, lime, lemon, citrus peel and elderflower with some vinegary hints and a slight grapefruit bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium with effervescent carbonation.
Overall, a very nice geueze, a bit raw maybe.

Orange, lightly veiled. Scace white foam.
Smell: good.
Taste: good.
Strong, good sourness, leather, cellar. A bit of sweetness.
Good, quite rough and unrefined. In a good sense.
Interesting.
Wait for the future.

What starts off as a pretty standard gueuze to the eye and nose is revealed as the shady character it is by the tongue: this stuff comes across more like harsh rubbing alcohol than any sour, tart, funky, varied flavor profile one would expect from the style. This hurts to drink, even for a moment. I'm hoping I got a bad bottle or batch or something, but nothing seemed amiss beside the taste, so I'm left to just think it's not very good. What can I say?
