Mixed Culture Oat Saison
Brewed with mostly malted oats, hopped in the coolship with French Strisselspalt, then aged on our mixed culture. You walk the path to the castle, fragile stones crunching under your feet filling the air with a hint of minerality, and you crouch next to a giant lemon verbena bush that sits in the shade of late summer vines which have just begun to harden off. An act of defiance, cutting directly down the center of the pumpkin reveals its supple interior, thick webbing and tender flesh, smelling faintly of seckel pears and Lambrusco, and you laugh knowing there will be no bright orange colored spread for the freshly baked Shokupan inside those distant fortressed walls.
