On-tap 1/20/2022 at the brewery’s taproom in Fall River, MA, served in a US pint glass.
A: The beer is a bright orange/amber color, with a short white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains blood orange, light caramelized malts, lager yeast and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of blood orange and touches of spice and caramel. Then some breadiness comes in from lager yeast and a light malt character. The hops presence is very mild but brings a good balance. The blood orange is not a dominant in the taste as it is in the smell. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, light body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down easily, not filling at all, mild kick, good representation of style. This is a decent beer to drink for a while.
