Pours a clear yellow with thick, fluffy head.

Smell is crisp and bready with some snappy rye hits. Notes of crackers and cirus. Very clean.

Taste is clean and crisp with a solid bitterness. Notes of crackers, wheat dough, citrus. rye and some floral hints. Great drinkability and balance.

Mouthfeel is medium smooth and well carbonated.

Overall, a terrific pilsner, well made and very refreshing.

From the bottle, it pours a clear golden color with a nicely sized white head that slowly diminishes as you watch, but is continually refreshed by a stream of bubbles. In the nose, it is fresh, slightly hoppy and slightly malty. In the mouth, it is refreshingly bitter and malty - great Franken Pils! Understandable why it is a Beer Star winner!

Pours a lovely golden color with a huge, stable white head.

Smells of wheat, soft bread, grass, copper and wet grass, with a sweet caramel hint.

Has a lower, soft carbonation with a slightly more spritzy finish, light and well balanced.

Tastes of hay, caramel, an aqueous silkness, a note of funghi and mold covered grass. Quite herbal with a gentle malt sweetness, ensuring a very well balanced beer. Finishes floral, piney and crisp with a very mellow, caressing maltiness.

Another winner from this brewery, including a unique note to a flawlessly well brewed Pils.
