From the bottle, it pours a light golden amber (mostly golden) with a nice head. The head lasts a while. Bock flavor manifests in it's strong maltiness. Enjoyable to drink and respectable.

Poured a medium head, had a fairly pale colour and was clear. The aroma was mainly fennel. Tasted sweet and malty with notes of grass and fennel. What stood out was the sharp peppery finish seemed very long. Overall a decent Heller Bock which was similar to a Maibock.
