A bock worthy of the name. Pours from the bottle a dark amber with a nice head, which does dissipate faster than desired. Lacing abounds on the glass. Enjoyable.

Poured a medium to large head that was slightly tanned, slight haze. Smelled hints of fennel but mainly malts. Fairly sweet, tasted roasted malts with notes of dark chocolate and slight hints of grass. Was smoother and easier to drink than the Heller Bock from the same brewery.
