New Ridge Brewing "Keller Pils"
Look: Hazy straw gold body beneath a bright head of white foam. Average head retention and lacing.
Smell: Grainy and grassy Pilsner aroma with a delicate herbal and spicy notes from the hops.
Taste: The flavor follows with a firm bitterness that balances it nicely.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp with a standard carbonation level.
Overall: It could be more hoppy for my tastes but it is quite similar to some of the kellerpils that I've sampled in southern Germany. Nicely done!
