New Ridge Brewing "Balzer's Tripel"
$6.25/12 oz. glass on tap at the brewery

Notes: Clear, light amber colored body beneath a finger's width of white foam. Average head retention and lacing. It has a limited aroma but it's mainly malty with a golden, sweetish, and bready character backed by a fallen apple-like fruitiness. The flavor is malty, bready, and fruity with apple, pear, fig, and raisin. There's a sublte spiciness to it from the yeast. The alcohol doesn't show or give any more of a presence than it should. Nicely balanced and dry in the finish with a little bit of spiciness and dark fruit lingering shortly. Medium to medium-light in body and crisp. Nicely done.
