The use of freshly harvested wet hops for every seven-barrel batch makes this a hoppy delight. This version contains an expertly crafted blend of Citra and Mosaic hops. Cheers!

Had this IPA initially as part of a sampler at the Portsmouth Brewery and had to buy several bombers. This beer is a single hopped IPA using Mosaic hops, resulting in an amazingly aromatic beer.
A: Clear with an amber and bronze color, and a small foamy head.
S: The smell of this beer is amazing. It has an extremely intense hop aroma with major fruity notes, including apricot.
T: Great tasting IPA that matches closely with the smell of the beer. Malt flavors come through and a pair well with the hops for a well balanced flavor.
M: Well carbonated with a smooth feel.
Overall: Phenomenal beer. Not overpowering but has a remarkable aroma and is well balanced. Highly recommended for any aromatic/hoppy beer fans. The Low ABV (5.5%) allows you to enjoy this beer without overdoing it too.

Alewife and I swung by the brewery today for a little lunch. While she snagged some of the fantastic barleywine, I opted for a pint of this newbie, brewed with Mosaic hops.
An Imperial pint was filled, at $6.00. The bier was a slightly hazy, deep golden color. Had slow, sparse carbo, and a thin, off-white, fine and creamy head which left very nice lacing. Aroma was of citrus and rindy hops; a nice precursor to the flavor. Body was a solid medium, and it added just a light tickle to the tongue.
Flavor had a suggestion of toastyness, with a hint of lightly sweet apricot. But the sweetness went bitter rapidly, with lots of pithy, rindy citrus holding the fort. Had some grapefruit hitting the palate, plus a smidge of something bordering on mint. Solidly bitter and pleasant; the dry finish had good lasting hoppage. Solid! Prosit!!
