Had this on tap this past saturday at Portsmouth. Drank two pints, it was that tasty (and still wanted more). Oh yeah, that's where the growler we brought back with us'll come in handy. This was the wet hopped version, with plenty of Centennials and Cascades thrown in. Deep rich reddish amber, some cloudiness, no head. Nice juicy hop aroma. What I liked about this one was it's delightful yin and yang...a lot of malt presence, with some drying tannic sensations on the tongue. All those hops in there, but still a touch of fruityness, and even some low lingering sweetness in the finish. The 'tender told us it was under five abv, but I am wondering if all those hops made me feel as though it was 'bigger' than it was. Extremely drinkable.

Top of the blackboard was this offering. A deep brown tone color, mild carbonation, it is brewed along the lines of a mild beer. Good hops and other subtle tastes made this a great beer IMHO. Keeping with the season, the beer definitely puts you in the mood for crisp Autumn nights.
