From a growler obtained at the brewery. Sampled on January 1, 2015. First beer of the New Year for me.
Pale yellow pour under a modest white fizzy, carbonated head.
The aroma is quite pleasant with pale malts, honey, and that touch of basil herb. Hops downplayed
The body is light but smooth.
The taste has a nice sweet malt forward character with a touch of honey, a dab of basil, and a clean, crisp hop finish. A pretty typical and easy to drink traditional pale ale.
