On tap a the source.
Dark copper light brown in color with a decent size frothy off white head that persists. Rich toffee and chocolate with bits of earth to counter. I missed the chocolate character that I often associate with this style but it was a tasty well made beer.

The appearance was a milky brown color with a little white cap of a foamy head. Some messy lace. The aroma had some sweet to roasty nuts, good dose of caramel/toffee malts, some mild earthy hops and a little bit of cereal grainy sweetness at the end. The flavor provided a decent malty sweetness rolling about with a nice roast accompanying the backbone. Nice aftertaste of the malts and roast. Quick malty finish. The feel was just a tad under than medium bodied, pretty good sessionability about it and a good carbonation. Overall, not sure why it has the word "porter" in the name because this is definitely not a porter by style but a good brown ale worthy of having again.
