Bottle from the brewery store.
Murky light golden color with a dense rocky white head that persists forever. Light clove and peppery funk with a subtle sweet fruity aroma. The vanilla and cinnamon are not apparent in the aroma. An initial rush of light fruitiness along with some earthy funky flavors followed by a light vanilla flavor. Very subtle cinnamon flavor and a lingering lightly tart fruit in the finish. I honestly thought this was going to be a train wreck, but the flavors come together quite nicely. The vanilla takes away some of the perception of dryness often found in the style. I'm diggin' it.
