An all-American beer with Cascade playing second fiddle to Chinook & Palisade hops for a big citrus character.

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a hazed pale yellow color with a fluffy white finger’s worth of head. The aroma starts with a floral perfumey grassy aromatic quality over some lemon pulp sweetness. Light cracker/breadiness. The flavor yields to the floral perfumey quality sweetness over that subtle lemony pulpiness again. Subtle bready malty to floral perfumey hoppy aftertaste. Semi-dry bready to lemony finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a fair sessionabiltiy about it. Moderate carbonation felt fine. Overall, decent APA. It does the trick for a good balance, I’ll give it that.

Semi-opaque light golden. 1/2" creamy head, leaves chunks of lacing on the glass.
Smell is mostly citrusy hops, tangerine, lemon, some tropical fruit (mango maybe?), a touch of honey.
Taste follows the nose, with some soapy bitterness.
Thin feel, medium/high carbonation. None of the flavors stick around too long. Feels more like a session IPA than a pale, though the malt is a bit hefty for a session.
Overall, kind of drinks like an "IPA light," somewhere around the intersection of IPA, session IPA, and APA. It actually grew on me over the course of the bottle - easy drinking, but with juust enough of a malt backbone to keep things interesting.

Sample from the Granite State Brewers Festival 7/25/15
Light bready maltiness with a hint of rich caramel and plenty of American "c" hops to counter.

My roommate received this as an extra and was kind enough to share.
Poured into a pint glass. Amber red/brown. Completely clear. Nice white soft ring around the top. Lacing? Not today. Still though, it looks clean and refreshing.
Lemongrass is the main scent I pick up. Some caramel backing shows up as well. No complexity, which is to be expected with the style but it's almost too one dementional.
Fairly sticky, all that was observed in the smell is present in that taste as well. The mouthfeel is too thick and sticky and is not as refreshing as I would have liked.

In my imperial pint glass, this beer was a pretty cherry amber color with a thick white head that left a fair amount of lacing. The aroma was a little on the tepid side, with some faint citrus and floral notes. The citrus came through more in the taste, with a nice grapefruit presence. The floral aroma got a little lost. A nice enough beer.
