Had this today at the brewery. A good beer. It was a clear copper color with a medium head and some nice lacing. It had an outdoors, grainy, sweet corn aroma. A sweet taste, like buttered popcorn. Decent hops that lingered. Fairly aggressive mouthfeel. Good beer to drink, but your palate will wear out after a few.

Shaked, rattled and rolled with this one on 8/28/2004. 16-oz. pour at the Portsmouth Brewery in a shaker glass.
Head was sheeting to a ghost-like transluscency. Hue was lightly shaded tawny gold, with flecks of opalescence. Bouquet held a washed out quality of subtle malt and green hydrangea. Surprisingly full, round malt taste that lingers; apple-y tartness skulking about the edges. Overall gangly throatiness, and in the end a very fine lager.
