Bottle from the brewery store labeled Bock Lager.
Pours a crystal clear reddish brown color with a huge creamy tan head that slowly recedes to a cap on top. Aromas of caramelized sugars and brown bread with some faint floral hops deep underneath. The flavor is sweet sugary malt with a bit of a burnt edge to it. Light dark dried fruits and a hint of earth round out the flavor. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet touch of syrup mouthfeel. Nice drinker but needs a decoction or something to make it a bit more interesting.

Had on tap. Somewhat clear perfect shade of dark brown with a tan cap. Caramel and earthy malts, with dark fruits lingering. Taste follows the nose, adding earth, apple, and grass on the finish. Feel is smooth, full, has hints of booze, finish gets springy as it should, elevating this one. The wife liked it

Poured from brewry fresh 22 oz bomber into a pint glass.
Pours deep dark brown with faint reddish tints. Retains a full inch of tiny tan foam, slow to settle. Clean malty smell.
Light hoppy clean taste, malt hints throughout.
Smooth mouthfeel.
Really tasty, solid beer.

Got my Imperial Pint Club glass filled to the brim with this offering yesterday at the Brewpub...
This Bock is a clear, deep chestnut color, with minimal carbonation visible within. A lovely hue for a bier! Head was a 1/4" creamy layer of beige suds, lasting well and leaving superb lace. Nose is a bit light, with some toasty malt coming forth. Didn't get any hop whiffs in the aroma at all. The bier was medium bodied, with no roughness on the palate; fairly smooth, overall.
Toasty malt sweetness is present in the flavor at the outset, sort of a crystal aspect, imo. It gets dryish and floral, and though I don't know what hops are there, I've got "noble hops" stuck in my head for this one. Could be way off base, but... nbd, eh?! It finishes a touch bitter, and that aspect lingers a bit. This put me off for a bit, until it warmed, and more sweetness shone through and offset the bitterness enough to make me like this more than I initially did. I still think it could use a bit more sweetness, but it still is a decent Bock, all-in-all.
Prosit!!

This beer is a beautiful amber color, with a small head and minimal lacing. It has a strong yeasty aroma with some fruit hiding in the background. It has a fruity taste and some nice hoppiness. Very substantial and assertive in the mouth. Quite drinkable, but not a beer that I'd want to spend the whole night with.
