This light-bodied, golden German style ale features a light hop profile. Brewed with an authentic yeast from Köln, it is quite drinkable.

Can from the source.
Just a touch of haze in a light golden beverage with a good sized long lasting head that persists. Rich bready crackery pilsner against a spicy floral hop. Well made tasty lawnmower beer.

Poured into a pint glass. This one pours a hazy golden color with a cap of white head that settles quickly.
Candied sugar in the aroma. Kind of has a bubblegum aroma to it with some aspertain. Reminds me of the sticks of gum that used to come in packs of baseball cards. Better on the pallet. It has a little bit of a cardboard flavor but overall a nice grainy flavor with a touch of sweetness. A slight finish of metallic hops.
The body is light and the carbonation is a bit low. Nothing great here but nothing special either. Not one of Portsmouths better offerings in my humble opinion.
