Ok I was sad to see this one go so I need to review it. I was there the day it was brewed so I know what a hassle it was to brew guy's but it was worth it.
I has this brew from a growler and strait from the Tap both were Identical in quality. It poured with a nice two finger white head and the body was crystal clear and a nice straw in color.
It had a light hop note presence in the front with a wonderful bready yeast in its aroma's this thing is the freshest Pils I have ever drank so I will have to say it is the best Pils I have ever drank. The flavor was sweet and spicy and it was crisp and clean in my mouth.
By far the best session brew to come out of Portsmouth in years. If you missed it I am sorry. One can only hope that this becomes a regular in the rotation but seeing that it's a lager I kind of doubt it myself. Thus explaining all the crying when it kicked

This is truly one of Portsmouth's better beers. These guys deserve a round of applause on this one.
This beer has excellent balance a spicy hop profile and great malt background.
I really hope this beer becomes part of their routine rotation.
Congratulations on a job well done.

In an imperial pint glass (not a pilsner) the beer was a gold color with a thick white head and plenty of lace. Nicely carbonated
It had a floral aroma, almost lavender. Sweet malt.
Big malt taste. And I mean big. Pine there also, and still some sweetness.
This was a big Bohemian pilsner, a nice mouthful and really fun to drink.

To the best of my knowledge, this is a limited release. According to Portsmouth Brewery's website, this baby is 4% ABV and has 28 IBU. It also mentions that this is double-hopped instead of triple-hopped.
A: Served from tap into a pint glass. It is a brilliant straw gold, is very bright, and definitely filtered. It looks an awful lot like a pilsener should, although it has almost no head. I can't help but think it's odd that it is not served in a pilsener glass.
S: The smell is of honey, malt, and grassy hops.
T: It tastes much more like honey than I had expected. I had my mouth set for a bitter, invigorating pilsener, but this works nicely all the same. So it opens with honey, the body is of sweet malts (almost cookie-ish), and the hops finally rally on the finish, with a moderate assertion of grass and spice.
M: The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, briskly carbonated, and is a good example of this style.
D: It goes down nice and smooth, as is befitting of this style.
