22oz bottle picked up in the brewery store a few nights ago. Amber in color with a thin white head covering the top of the beer and clinging to the sides of the glass.
The aroma mixes a bitter, citrus rind hoppiness with some sweeter, slightly toasted, pale malts.
The taste has more of a bitter grapefruit, citrus rind quality to it. I get some pale malts coming through as well as a little bit of a crisp fruitiness in the finish.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied and carbonation is moderate. Overall it was a pretty nice beer of the style. It was crisp, easy drinking and showed some nice hop presence to it.
