On tap at The Brewery.
The beer was a hazy orange color with a thick white head. The head dissipated quickly, but left a good deal of lace.
Sweet malt aroma, A little bit of earthy hops.
Taste stayed true to aroma. A lot of caramel, a little bit of hops. Very sweet.
I thought the sweetness was a distraction. The beer was nice enough, just not that great.

Enjoyed on tap at the source.
Comes to the table in a pint glass a murky, cloudy, dark apple cider color with a decent sized frothy white head. Smells of bready malt with some toffee an earthy spice thrown in for some balance. Smells like an English ale to me. The flavor is a little sweet with caramel and bitter burnt sugars with a heavy earthy spicy hop bite. Light hop bitterness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. This beer was quite a letdown after the pils I had before it. For a hop project beer it seemed overly malty to me. Decent enough brew, but it really didn't excite me.
