Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a milky, reddish hued golden color. There was about no head or lacing. Lighter but good nose. Sour and tart cherries, and some wheat. A touch of funkiness. The taste is quite good. Tart and sour cherries, with some wheat. Faint spices also. Nice!

Bottle from the Brewery labeled Kriek Sour Cherry Ale
Pours a deep fairly clear golden color with a smallish off white head that quickly dissipates. Aromas of earthy funk. pepper, yeasty esters and a hint of cherry. The flavor follows the aroma quite well. Cherry earthy funk with pepper clove and a hint of yeast, Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Easy enough to drink, but this isn't much of a kriek. I would have loved some lactic, and the cherry is awfully faint and lends no color to the finished product.

There are two versions of this that come out the "young" and the "old" version. The young is hot and sour, really sour, all at the same time. The older one is a bit mellower with a more pronounced fruit flavor.
I'm a huge fan of the harshness of the younger pour, but I'll drink either as long as they're on tap. I mean, they're the only thing that I drink when they're on tap. But, that's due to the fact that I love sours and there's not a lot else local that's sour, so, drink it while you got it and try to reward the brewer for doing something you love.
But, either of them stay on tap for a while...
It's not quite a classic style, they do a sour mash rather than sour yeast, but, that's because they'd never get the yeast out of the brewhouse if they let it in. So, aside from that, it's got the big sour flavor, the cherry backing, and the right mouthfeel. One of my favorite US krieks...

On draft served in a tulip glass.
Beer poured a nice orange/red color. Definitely had some funk smell but not overwhelming by any means. No head on this beer at all and only a small amount of lacing. New to the reviewing "thing" so not going to attempt to pinpoint the fruits, but suffice it to say that there was some subtle fruitiness without being sweet at all. Overall, was a nice sour and I would certainly get it again.
