Draught @ Brewpub: Served in a tulip glass. This one poured a strawberry tinged murky golden color. There was about no head or any lacing. Lighter but nice aroma. Sour strawberries, wheat and some rhubarb. The taste is very good. It is slightly sour. The main flavors are the strawberry, wheat and rhubarb. These all seem to work very well together. Somewhat lighter body. Very refreshing.

64oz growler into a matching Portsmouth snifter. The brew pours a clouded slightly almost pinkish stained golden color with a finger of creamy white cap that collapses. As the cap fades (which it does quickly) it leaves some small dots and strings of lacing effect. A swirl brings back nearly a half finger to the surface that holds around the perimeter.
The aroma is quite cheesy with notes of sulfur. It is earthen and mildly vegetative smellingly mildly of that earthen rhubarb note mixed with even fainter aspects of fruity strawberry that is mildly seedy and almost like celerey. As the brew warms up, it has some footy pilsner grain aspect poking through.
The flavor is tart with a lemony lactic note that blends into a bit of greek yogurt. Some funky notes of cheese and sulfur blend into a faint fruity aspect of strawberry that is quite earthen and seedy. Like the nose, it has a minor vegetative note that is almost like celery which is strange. As the brew goes beyond ideal temperature, some footy grain aspect emerges.
This is a light bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. The alcohol is nowhere to be found which is fitting for the style. However, the advertised additions are equally hard to decipher. For the style, it is nicely tart and easy drinking. It is a good brew but honestly sounds better on paper than what it really is. It is something I would still seek out just to say you had and I forsee zero issues crushing the rest of this growler.
