22oz. bottle poured into a weizen glass.
Appearance: Dark brown with an initial head of about 1" that quickly recedes to a cap, leaves nice lacing.
Smell: An interesting combination of floral/citrus over roasted malt hints of chocolate & coffee.
Taste: Follows the aroma and is an inventive take on a wit. Elements of citrus (mild lemon) are muted beneath the roast which is mostly a nice chocolate flavor. Frankly, it's a combination that I would not expect to taste as good as it does.
Mouthfeel: Very light, clean, and well carbonated.
Overall: Innovative take on the witbier style but very tasty and worth trying.
