Collaboration with Three Weavers Brewing Company
This Juicy IPA has West Coast hoppiness with New School juiciness (EL DORADO, SIMCOE & STRATA hops). Brewed in collaboration with our INGLEWOOD family, Three Weavers Brewing Company, led by Alexandra Nowell. This beer celebrates the diversity and impact of women in craft beer. Through-out history women have played and intricate role in the science and craft of fermentation. We are proud to bestow on them the CROWNS they so rightly deserve.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: American IPA
Glass: Monkish 16-oz. mug
Price: $4.69
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: June 11, 2021
Consumed: June 12, 2021
Misc.: Collaboration with Three Weavers; Canned on April 20, 2021
Went to Windmill Farms to grab some stuff for Chad and $113 later I had way too much beer. Had tried two beers from Crown & Hops before, giving a stout called Island Anomaly a 4.00 on April 22, 2021 and a hazy DIPA called The Glow Up a 4.31 on June 3, 2021. Really liked that hazy DIPA and was hoping this West Coast collab with Three Weavers would be close to as good. Online description I found was “This Juicy IPA has West Coast hoppiness with New School juiciness (EL DORADO, SIMCOE & STRATA hops). Poured a pale-yellow clear color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass at different speeds. World-class uneven foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled a nice mix of the mentioned hops, in order El Dorado, Strata and Simcoe. Also melon, orange blossom, mango, papaya, red grapefruit, mixed berry, purple grape and pineapple. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted a little better than the nose. Was liking this one. Got Strata, El Dorado, melon, mango, guava, papaya, Simcoe, red grapefruit, pineapple, orange rind, pine, mixed berry and hints of purple grape. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Another solid offering from Crown & Hops. I probably underrated this just a bit too, but very good. (Overall - 4.00)
