Another young, ambitious micro-brewer I haven't tried; courtesy of my run across the border to Woodman's Kenosha.
Young Blood (three blocks from the Wisconsin Capitol building) is an old 18 months. UnTappd has Young Blood's list currently at 191 beers, or one release every three days. Prolific. Many also have truly funny and thoughtful titles.
But loving what you do for 18 months (even with some impressive apprenticeships) does not help a micro compete with the Belgian masters who have been brewing for several generations. And that is what Preston is up against... even if his namesake is on TV.
Bottom-line: Preston needs an animated yeast to compete with the masters. While there is a lot to like in this can (including the faux Hollywood label), I'll explain more about how this aged BDSA can be improved after I have the second can.... which could be November... when the season calls for ginger.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
