Alpine Highway Saison
Our Saison is a culmination of everything we love about the French and Belgian styles. With notes of peppercorn, coriander, and clove, this beer is multi-dimensional finishing slightly phenolic with hints of citrus, sourdough bread, and lemon zest.

Had Alpine Highway poured from 12-oz. can, no date, into tumbler, and then at the Five Wits tap room, Chattanooga, on draft into Willi Becher.
Pours bright gold with clarity and near-white 1-finger head, which dissipates to a persistent ring and leaves some sketchy Belgian lace. Aroma is classic, continuing, calibrated saison yeast spices, and mild citrus as warms. Begins with carbonation and saison yeast spices, over a moderately silky body (nice mouthfeel), which carry into melon flavors and citrus in the back, and a bitter, drying finish.
Finish is a bit rough on this otherwise excellent saison.
