Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a custom Captain Lawrence pint glass; no production information, but purchased at the brewery last week.
A: Pours a hazy, orange-amber color with a one half finger, off-white head, rim retention, but decent, broad rings of lacing.
S: Fruity with aromas of orange, pineapple, mango, and grapefruit early, giving way to a light caramel note.
T: More semisweet than semidry. Flavors a melange of the nose, but getting a citrusy Pixie Stix sweetness early and a strong, grainy barley note on the back end. Light to moderate bitterness balances sweetness.
M: Medium bodied with medium effervescence. Smooth and drinkable.
O: A solid and drink AIPA. Fruity flavors great up front, but fade surprisingly quickly, making it resemble a more non-fruit heavy beer. I suspect this is popular with those who have not sold their souls to the Juicy IPA god.
