Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Kane snifter glass; canned on 09/02/2020.
A: Pours an initially clear, but increasingly more cloudy, dark copper color with a one to two finger, wheat colored head, but rim retention and limited lacing.
S: Aromas of nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, allspice, and caramel.
T: Remarkably dry, while imparting a hint sense of sweetness largely through the flavor characteristic. Flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and white pepper are very present. Earthy with a tobacco note. Bitterness is solid, perhaps a bit strong.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A little thin bodied.
O: I like the dryness. This is a very drinkable, pumpkin beer, which starts with a pumpkin pie aroma/flavor profile, but takes it in an interesting direction.
