L- Pours a lovely deep clear chestnut brown with a great 3Cm pale cream foam head. 4.5/5
S- I get some bright hops. 3.5/5 (My nose is not on form today).
T- Bright and bold trad hops that leave a zing across the palate followed by richly roasted malts. As you sip on both are there in parallel. After sipping on for a while I register how bold the hopping is. More so that say Abbot or Old Speckled Hen. 4/5
F- Lovely balance of hops+malts. Carbonation is great – 10mins in there is still 1Cm of foam cap. 4.25/5
O- Sometimes beer from a small local brewer that ‘you’d not heard of before’ can be hit+miss. Not this one, it’s superb. There is nothing at all less than good to note (except my nose today!), nothing. What a lovely surprise find. How I’d love to find this on draft. 4.25/5

£2.99 – Bacchanalia, Mill Road, Cambridge – 330ml bottle
Contains both barley + wheat. BB end of Dec-22 Bot-con
