This sour ale features peach juice for sweet & tart fruity flavors. Added vanilla & lactose give Segler's its smooth mouthfeel and sweet, creamy notes to balance the tart fruit.
They named it after the Segler (SEE-gler) family. Their old farmhouse from the late 1800’s at the corner of Cone Avenue and 10th Street is all that remains of the family farm. W.F Segler and his wife Leola raised 13 kids in this house and all of those little farmhands stayed busy growing a wide variety of produce and selling it at Segler's Market inside a Jitney Jungle Store on Harrison Avenue in 1926, and just two years later opened their own brick & mortar shop next to the Panama Theater.
