Our Pils is a beautiful representation of German pilsner malt and noble hops. This beer is for the drinker who prefers a little more hop presence with a subtle bite that dissipates smoothly into a depth of floral, herbal, and honey flavor. We pour this beer slowly (be patient, it’s worth it!) over the course of approximately five minutes to allow all of the aromas and flavors to meld into your glass and deliver it to you with a soft pillowy head. The inspiration for this beer comes from Brewer Tom’s unforgettable experience drinking his favorite Pilsner in the German Alps.

Chill hazed pale straw yellow with a tall head of bright white, finely whipped merginue.
After this beautiful slow pour on-site, that edible foam head gives way to an impossibly crisp, crystalline body with a wild herb bitterness, almost allium and rose, but also without a specifically defining characteristic, finishing perfectly dry and exhaling a touch of Julie's sourdough cracker.
It's so crazy zesty, crisply popping but drinkable and expressive without being any one definable flavor, it's unreal.

09/26/25. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Clear gold with 1-2 finger frothy white head with good retention and copious lacing.
S: Aroma is bready pils with floral herbal hop presence
T: Flavor is solid with lean bready pils maltiness with noble floral-grassy hop notes. Moderate bitterness and clean with no off-flavors.
M: Very lean body with high carbonation and very dry finish.
O: Goldfinger Pils is an excellent version of the German pils style with lean body and malty flavor with great hop aroma and flavor balance with super-dry finish. Stellar lager.

500ml pour in a tall, skinny glass with a waist. I think it's called a stange. On tap at the brewery.
Pours clear golden with a big, crunchy looking head, and TONS of carbonation. Smell is delicate, floral and grassy, moderate grain and a little lager yeast.
Taste is light honey sweetness, grain husks, earthy bitterness, some hay, some wood. Moderate to light floral character. Bitterness builds up quite a bit more than I would have expected.
Mouthfeel is light, clean, prickly, airy. Overall, very nice beer.

Pours an effervescent gold with fingers of pearl colored head. Tiny bubbles continue to dance in my mug throughout the tasting. Better than average head retention & lacing
S: Bready, soapy hops, grassyness, plus perfumy hops once warm
T: Follows the nose, dryness, limes & lemons plus grassyness up front. Bready sweetness, grassy bitterness & lemony hops all meld together nicely as this beer warms up. Finishes dry, with grassyness, limes & a little bready/grainy sweetness
MF: Medium body, lively carbonation, nicely balanced
No real faults with this beer, superb drinkability & tons of flavor delivered. Got better as it warmed up

This is probably my favorite pilsner. Grassy without being too grassy. Bready with a bit of citrus. Light and crisp. It just hits the spot. I would drink this every day if I could.
