A crisp, light bodied Mexican-style lager we brewed in collaboration with Bar Chido in Downers Grove, IL for their restaurant. This highly drinkable lager has hints of earthiness, floral, and corn flavors.

Poured from a 16oz can into a SP Willi Becher pint glass. Pours a straw gold with three fingers of fluffy white foam head. Cereal grains and corn with some bready malts and lager yeast on the nose. Taste follows. I can see where they get the corn tortillas descriptor from. This is crisp and refreshing with a medium-full mouthfeel. Perhaps not as carbonated as I would prefer but still really good. Goldfinger rocks the lager game.

Outstanding Mexican Lager. No beer is perfect but I can't think of much to change about this one. Slight sweetness, some corn flavor, not hoppy at all, balanced, refreshing and creamy mouthfeel for a lager. Sooooooo Tasty.

16 ounce can into a pilsner glass. Canned 4/29/24, had 6/4/24.
Pours a bright, pale yellow color, with a two inch head of spongy foam and a little foamy lacing. Active carbonation. Aromas of yeast, some corn and wheat, light malt, light black pepper. Smells somewhat floral. Flavors of malt, light yeast, a little hop bitterness, a hint of corn. Tastes lightly sweet and a little floral. Smooth, fairly crisp, a very good light body, well carbonated.
For me, this is a little lighter than I would entertain on a regular basis. But it’s really well made, flavorful and enjoyable.

500ml pour in a footed pilsner glass, on tap at the brewery.
Pours clear light honey color, about a finger of dense creamy head, tiny bubbles of active carbonation crawling slowly up. Smell is bright and bready, yeast with a hint of lemon.
Taste is breadier, yeastier, and not quite as bright as the aroma had me hoping, but there's some floral sweetness that supplants the lemon I smelled.
Motuhfeel is medium, slightly prickly, velvet without being heavy. Very nice, easy to drink beer.

16 oz can into a pilsner glass. Clear pale straw color with a foamy white head receding to a thin film. Smells of corn adjunct and sweet malt that carries through in the flavor, along with some earthy bitterness. Feel is appropriately light and crushable.
