An absolutely amazing festbier! Way better than the marzen. The wife loved it! Golden body with a giant head and thick lacing. Aromas of honeyed grain, bready yeast, biscuit, and flowers. Taste is much the same, little underlying sweetnesss to the crisp malt, yeast is full and delicious like the nose, grain has a toasted element added to the honey. Feel is soft and full, clean and so silky smooth. Festbier of the year so far!

Ho-hum, just a stellar beer from Goldfinger - this time it is their new festbier.

Pours a lovely burnished gold color - clear and lively - with a lovely velvety white head on the beer. Aroma has notes of sweet bread, bready malts and some light herbal hop notes. Taste follows the nose with a lovely rich, bready malt character with notes of sweet bread and dough giving way to notes of herbal hops providing a moderate bitterness. Feel is lively, easy drinking and bright.

Overall its an outstanding festbier - one that I could drink by the liter.

Drank 10/1/22 @ the Beer Temple.

Cloudy orange appearance.

Nice bright white head; frothy lace.

Wheat toast, pine nuts & faint pine notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Wheat toast & pine nut flavors up front; mild hop bite on the finish.

A bit sharp, perhaps, but a good quaff.

On draft at the source.

Hands down the best Festbier that I have drank. Bready, biscuit, & hint of honey. Mild perfectly balanced hop spice note in the finish just enough to know it's there without messing with the beautiful malt profile. Light body. Moderate levels of carbonation. Creamy texture with rich lightly drying finish. Incredible incredible Festbier.
