This is a brightly pale lager with persistent white foam that presents aromas of lilacs and citrus. Honey and floral notes greet the palate, but quickly give way to crackery malt character that transitions into a spicy and pleasant hop bitterness, finishing dry like a saltine cracker.

Have heard good reports on the Polish Pilsner series, but never really paid much attention to Polish Import Pilsners I've tried... so this is a FWIW review. Caned 1-9-23. Poured into a short Becher. Combining this review based on 2 note-taking sessions.

L -- Good, clear gold color with a sudsy white head that settles to a resilient cab -- bolstered by a lot of carbonation.

S -- Herbal hops and sweetish cereal grain. Some light grape notes and breadiness back.

T -- Bready malts and cereal grains up front -- somewhat tannic from the grains in the finish. Bitter herbal hops in the finish and aftertaste. A touch of lemon citrus in the aftertaste. One in-between can was giving me strong corn character, but it seemed to be an anomaly -- maybe a tainted palate.

F -- Mouthfeel is crisp to soft with a dry finish and medium-light body.

O -- Inline with a lighter German Pils. Hints of good breadiness that leave you wanting more. Hop bitterness seems somewhat cloying at first, but prompts more sips. Very quaffable if not somewhat lackluster compared to other Pilsners.

On draft at the source. It's a home run. What a delicious lager.

-------------------------------------

Can review on 2/7/23. Canned on date of 01/09/23

poured into Goldfinger branded dimpled mug.

Appearance: Translucent pale straw yellow bodied beer with huge bone white head.

Smell: Bready malts and floral / herbal hop combo. This beer smells really really fresh both from the malt profile and the hops.

Taste: Crusty white bread and a hint of honey sweetness compromise the flavors of the malt profile. Light floral hops are in here too for balance which leaves a light & clean rather pleasant bitterness in the finish. Perhaps some herbal notes, fresh yet light lemon zest & light pine notes are here as well. Complex and delicious lager.

Mouthfeel: light bodied lager with medium carbonation levels. Creamy carbonation. Crisp and clean and lightly dry as well.

Overall: Incredible execution here of a delicious lager. I really like the Polish Pils Series from Goldfinger.
