Collaboration with Hopewell Brewing
A couple of months ago, we invited our friends from Hopewell Brewing to our brewery in order to bring you fresh hoppy goodness. German Hersbrucker and New Zealand Waimea hops continue our experiment of combining noble hops with new world hops to provide complexity in a hop forward lager. At 5.7% abv, this pale colored “Lupo Lager” presents aromas of melon, citrus, and resiny goodness backed by floral and spice notes.

Canned 6/12/23; drank 6/25/23 @ the Yarchives.
See-through orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge off-white head; frothy lace remained.
Orange citrus & grapefruit notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Grapefruit & orange peel flavors up front; mild pine bite on the finish.
Hop forward, a touch dry; overall enjoyable if you like hoppy lagers. I'd have another!
