A: Pitches an obsidian to coal solidity, while networking a tone near iridium. The decanter offers a midnight shade with updraft releases on woodsmoke, where emissions further muse. Coupled with, a collar that draws on an Artic Wolf’s coat through the warmer months, of a mudded brown tinge, while briming an alabaster tint. The stabilizing properties on the collar’s formation are moderated to the < ½ inch, which facilitates a cling under coercion, before the impelled – dissipated – actions. Then, a space that defines a refined acceleration thru viscosity, enabling grids to cathedral arches
S: A robust grain bill that’s eased, by the hop effect, while the blend constructs a streetwise neatness to the barrels. The start places chocolate over raisins with a subtle nut backing, for crediting Chunky bars, as brandied figs invade. Conjointly, a caramel coating above the toasted accents on Crostini, while distantly notating a forest underbrush to the bourbon dissertations. Malt approaches the midriff with a recording on flourless cake, aside Gianduia, as the casks provide an enhanced perspective. That being, a maltol to furfural induction, by way of hemicelluloses, which denotes filberts under a butterscotch spread. Correspondingly, an aldehyde receptiveness to vanillin, as a charred oak presence grows with a wooded hop defense. There is a small openness to esters against the phenolic meanders, when the longevity reaches a balmy betterment. Accordingly, a caproate interaction with a guaiacol inurement, where deep red fruits burn past a measured – tarry – scathing. The development is to old brandy parasites, besides oven-dry wood, as oak tannins provide a leathery resonance
T: The blend lends a depth that’s intrinsically driven through conglomerated polymers, seeing the barrels playful enactment. A rich malt component sets the mood, as hops provide a quiet stability with a dark rosin pitch. The data implicates a finesse to Picatostes con chocolate, underneath Turrón de Nata y Nueces, while cacao nibs take the foremost position. Secondly, figs work alongside prunes in a compote concoction, where cherries embody the notes around Kalfany Cola. The progression pits Flame raisins to Crandall currants, as the sweetness behind the bill centers with an oak lactone sustenance. Namely, a move towards Mampostiales, while boding an elderly – wolf tree – spread. There’s a bittering/herbaceous/botanical security that weathers the sweet vivacities, as esters neighbor to cultivate the build. Sequentially, an hourly cycle that gradients Madeira, by Bual varieties, before peat fires take neat ramifications over Darrell Lea Bullets @ >74°F. The headway pencils the cask intensities over the Munich malts, while maintaining a mild bitterness through candied – dried – oranges. Steadily, burnt lavender ensues with a nuance to Lapsang Souchong, as the barrels characterize smoked riders, for personifying the art of pyrography
M: A velutinous light texture that’s richly accented against the warming affinities, while carbonation stays in a tamed state. The approach comes with a fine attenuation, which excels upon the aerated intervals, where oaked-dry complexities galvanize
O: The malt bill is well-founded to the blends intricate webbing with a hop foliage that abodes stability. Notwithstanding, the structurization set behind esters, which adds a complementary fruitiness to mull over. A cask attunement that proficiently addresses the individualities on munichwine, while calmy tackling the quad facets under the barleywine engagements

This one pours a golden dark brown color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like caramel, milk chocolate, vanilla, toffee, brown sugar, and bourbon.
This is a heater down the middle of the plate – it’s executed so well. It’s super bold, but not very boozy, despite the intensely high ABV. There’s lots of caramel and sticky maltiness, some vanilla and bourbon, a touch of oak, and a really chocolatey creaminess that you don’t always get with barleywines.
It’s neither too sweet nor too dry – it’s right in the middle, right in the sweet spot. It’s surprisingly drinkable for all that’s going on.
This is really wonderful – a masterfully done blend of great barleywines.

Pours like a glass full of used motor oil, thick and black as night. The aroma starts out with layers of roast, toasted coconut, caramel, vanilla and old leather join the medley, too. Oily sip, with a cacao coating character that just lingers. The ABV is lightly perceptible at first, with an alcoholic sting on the finish. Delicious.

Very dark copper to brown with a fluid surface after its bubbly pinkish-tan collar dies off.
Quite warming and potent, but also complex, this one's barrel forward, malty, and caramelly, finishing chewy dry.
It grows even more intensely oaky over time.
