It has been a long time dream to assemble a triple barrel-aged barleywine blend and after years of patience and trusting the organic progression of the cellar, Truth In Time is here. No blends are forced and the structure is never predetermined - the cellar dictates how barrels age, support blends, and the serendipitous nature in which they find a home. Truth In Time is the result of this process, and one we are dearly excited about. Deep and complex, Truth In Time presents a deep almond-toffee note, followed by a long spice driven evaporative bloom that consumes the palate. The finish warms the collarbone and sits with you. This is movement, this is magic, this is life.

Poured at fridge temp into a glencairn. Pours a very dark brown. The nose is huge toffee, maple doughnut, bourbon, cinnamon bread, figs, and vanilla. Lovely.
The taste is absolutely insane. Might be my favorite BA barleywine on the taste. Bursting with caramel, bourbon, vanilla, figs, raisins, rye, light chocolate, maple, and a hint of brown sugar. Wow. This is so smooth. Can't believe the ABV is this high.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied. The aftertaste is caramel and bourbon. Lovely.
