First beer at brewery:
Pours as a medium amber clear beer with enough head on atop it to be quite appealing. Nose has what the brief description on the website indicates: melanoidin. It might be a little on the strong side for a Vienna, but is fine for my preferences.
Taste has what the nose promised, but in a bit more subdued fashion. There is a firm classic bitterness that counters the toasted malt, though the beer maintains a slight brown sugar sweet lean.
Very impressed with this one, and am enjoying it as a beer in my glass, and I think I’ll order another before we leave.
